Decoration of The Church of Taking Holy Mary Into The Heaven in Turgeliai vilage (Lithuania)
Over the past few years an entire church building reconstruction works were performed and the inside was equipped with an additional LED (light emitting diode) lighting. Most of the historic old church lighting lamps have been modernized using light-emitting diodes.
Also LED spotlights (including those illuminating in different colors) and the original flat shape LED illuminators, manufactured by special order were installed. Such lighting not only solemnizes the atmosphere of the church, but also emphasizes many decorative details and statues, without dazzling visitors with bright light.
Equally important is the fact that the church is free of constantly taking care of replacing defective light bulbs. LED lamps are extremely durable; moreover LUMO illuminators have been installed in areas that were previously very difficult to reach burnt incandescent bulbs.
Thanks to LED-integrated opticselements luminous flux can be directed distantly and at the right angle, highlighting only the necessary objects. In this way, you can emphasize the proper focus in any interior or exterior. LED lighting is the only one which is safe for antique objects illumination as it protects the objects and their surface from decay. LED lights do not emit any UV (Ultra Violet) rays and does not produce IR radiation.
